Japanese Teaware
Cups, kyusu, and tea bowls for quiet rituals.
This collection is rooted in the years our founder spent in Japan learning to cook, share food, and pour tea that brings people together. What began as a simple fascination with the way tea closes the distance between people slowly became a lifelong habit of collecting Japanese teaware—one cup, one kyusu, one bowl at a time.
Every piece in this edit is chosen for how it feels in use: the balance of a handle, the curve of a spout, the way steam rises from a small cup held in both hands. Glazes that catch the light softly, clay that feels alive, shapes that invite you to slow down for just one more sip.
We look for forms that feel calm and enduring rather than ornamental, with small details that reveal themselves over time—an unexpected texture under the thumb, a quiet ring when porcelain meets wood.
Many of these teapots and cups are limited finds and appear in very small quantities. When they’re gone, they’re often gone for good. Choosing from Japanese Teaware means inviting that sense of shared pause—the way tea can gather people around a small table—into your own daily life.
